Ireland is now a major golf vacation destination - and it will become more popular since it will be hosting the Ryder Cup in 2006.

Ireland is best known for its coastal courses – and has around 40% of the world’s genuine links.  Some Irish links courses have been around for over a hundred years, while others are newer developments.
The country also has a large number of parkland courses which offer a good test of skills.
